Partners will ideally provide cost-effective solutions that enhance their customers' competitive advantage within their respective industries, from first contact through to purchase and post-sales support.

Customer Relationship Management - Silver Competency

Effective October 2010

Beginning October 2010, the CRM competency requirements differ depending on which track you select: Value Added Reseller (VAR) or Independent Software Vendor (ISV). Please see below for requirements details for each track.
The following requirements apply to all partners, regardless of track:

Technical Certification Requirements 
Your organization must employ or contract with at least three individuals who, combined, pass all of these exams:
 
Microsoft Dynamics customization exams (pass the following exam):
Exam MB2-631: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Customization and Configuration

Microsoft Dynamics CRM installation and configuration exams (pass the following exam): 
Exam MB2-633: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Installation and Deployment

Microsoft Dynamics CRM application exams (pass the following exam):
Exam MB2-632: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Applications

In addition to meeting the above requirements, you must also meet the following requirements for the business model that you select:

Track 1 – VAR
At least one individual who has taken the Sales exam*
At least one individual who has taken the Pre-Sales exam*
At least two individuals who have completed a Methodology Implementation Exam**
VAR revenue requirements**

**October 2010 requirement

OR

Track 2 – ISV (following are October 2010 requirements)
At least one individual who has completed a Methodology Implementation Exam
At least one product having passed the Software Solution Test for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0
ISV revenue requirements


Customer Relationship Management - Gold Competency

Effective October 2010

The following requirements apply to all partners, regardless of track:

Your organization must employ or contract with at least six individuals who, combined, pass all of these exams:

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Applications (MB2-632: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Applications)
Microsoft Dynamics CRM Customization (MB2-631: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Customization and Configuration)
Microsoft Dynamics CRM Installation and Configuration: MB2-633 (Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Installation and Deployment)

Participation in the Customer Satisfaction Index
In addition to meeting the above requirements, you must also meet the following requirements for the business model that you select:

Track 1 – VAR
At least two individuals who have taken the Sales exam*
At least one individual who has taken the Pre-Sales exam* 
At least three individuals who have completed an Implementation Methodology exam**
